The following is a prayer from Chris. His request is for his brother Stephen who is very ill, and suffers daily, with a chronic colon condition. Please lift this whole family to the Lord, for healing, renewing, strength, and most of all for the glory of our LORD.
Hello,My brother is 27 years old. When he was 15, he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitus. He became very ill, and finally the decision was made that he would have to have his colon removed. He underwent a new type of surgery where his colon would be removed and a pouch would be constructed inside of abdomen. This would forgo the need for an exterior pouch or colonoscopy bag. Many prayed for my brother, and he came through the surgery, and seemed to be doing well. But after the surgery, he developed a condition called pouchitis. This condition is similar to what he dealt with when he had colitis. He had to be placed on antibiotics. This condition became chronic, and he is dependant upon these antibiotics to maintain his health. He has now been on antibiotics since 2001. As with all antibiotics, patients face the risk of whatever bacteria the medicine is prescribed to kill, becoming immune to the antibiotics. This has happened once before to him with one medicine. His body is not well. Due to the medicines that he has been on over long periods of time, Stephen suffers from joint pain. Some of the medicines that he has been on have caused his teeth to weaken and break. He faces the possibility that his body will become immune to the medicine that he is taking now. His quality of life does not appear to be the best. He seems to convey that death would be an alternative. I am in no way implying that he wishes to end his life, but that he may possibly feel that he would be better off dead. My brother is a born again Christian. He knows where he is going when he dies. Our family has been praying for him for years that he would get well. Modern medicine has no solutions to his problem. I feel and believe that only a touch from God will heal him. I know that God loves Stephen. We don’t understand why Stephen has gone through this. Please pray that God would have compassion on my brother and would heal him of his infirmities.Thank you for your prayers for my brother.Chris Hubert

Please pray for and with Tammy. This was a request left on the previous request. It is posted just as it was received. I have posted my prayer for her;
Please pray for me to get a job this month so that my Daughter and I can get financially back on our feet again since I lost my job at the end of September 2007. God, please help me come up with the money this week that I am behind in bills since I lost my job.
Please have Russ Owens come back into my life next month.

Tammy, I understand your problem. It is one that is plaguing many people. Let me tell you that God does love you, and He has provided for you eternal life through His Son Jesus. He desires to meet your every need. I pray you have called on the name of Jesus for salvation, confessing and repenting of your sins.
Father, I pray for Tammy to find and receive from YOU that job which you have for her, and that will glorify YOUR name. Please meet the financial need she has at this time, and this week. YOU have said, “My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19). Helen, Thank you for letting us know of this 10 year old boy surviving cancer. We do pray for him, in the name of Jesus, God’s continued healing, renewing, and renewing of strength. May God be glorified for all of these needs, and grant them according to His wll and for His own glory. Amen.
