When a Christian marriage is hurting we should all be praying. Here is one we need to lift to our Lord. He is the healer, and desires to make Christian marriages strong for His glory.
This request has my reply and prayer following:
Lord Father God Almighty, Christ Jesus whom I have proclaimed as my Savior. Please protect and save my marriage from doubt and past cruelties. I love my Family and have faith that you will keep this family/marriage in tact and free from divorce and lies. Keep me on a path of truthfulness and refraign from the sins of lies, control, deceitfulness and fear. In Jesus name I pray AMEN

Thank you for your prayer requests. Amen. I will post your requests in a while.Father YOU have said “I hate divorce” (Malachi 2:16); and though this woman has not mentioned this we do join with her in requesting protection from this fatal event. Wrap YOUR hands around Carole and her husband; open their eyes to YOUR peace, peacefulness, and the joy that YOU have for them as they rest in YOU.
Strengthen their love for YOU and for one another. May Carole and her husband focus in growing in new fellowship with YOU and strengthen the relationship with you through YOUR Son Jesus Christ.
By the power of YOUR Spirit help Carole speak to her husband without cruelties, lying, trying to control, deceitfulness or fear. In the name of Jesus. AMEN.

One the areas of lift which is the hardest hit for the Christian home today is marriage. No home is without the need for prayer; let’s join in prayer with Deborah for her marriage, and her husband.
Please pray for my marriage. Ash God to bind satan in my husbands life and to rebuke the unGodly relaionship and to curse it. Destoy all weapons against my marriage and to soften my husbands heart against me and give him love for me again. Inb Jesus name I pray Amen

Father, God of gods, Creator of all the universe, and designer of marriage and the home; we lift Deborah and her husband to the throne of grace. Open the eyes of her husband to his gross sin; first against YOU, secondly against Deborah, and finally against his family and himself.
We do pray that YOU will bind the devil in his assault against marriage and the family. Make Deborah stronger through this trying time in her life and home. Call her husband back into a right relationship with YOU.
Forgive sin as we ask, and thank you for hearing our prayer. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN.

I received this request for a marriage yesterday, January 21, 2009 at about 3:26 p.m. by email. Please pray for God to work in these lives and the home.
Hi my name is Barbara. I am requesting prayer for my marriage to Mark. Mark went to jail for a year and 2 months, while he was gone I felt that I was bombarded with thoughts of our past problems and him being in jail as a sign, I filed for divorce, but later came to realize that I do not want the divorce. He is mad at me for filing, I have apologized to him but he says he can’t get it out of his mind. I have had to forgive for several things, and when I have a weak moment he says he can’t forgive me. He says friends and family are telling him not to come back to me. We have been married for 9 ½ years, my prayer is that we will be reconciled together. Feel free to contact me by email. Barbara.
I appreciate your request and I ache for your pain in your marriage. It is a sad thing for marriages to divorce, as you know.
Yes! I will pray for you, Mark, and your marriage. Let me ask you this question: Do you both know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? The greatest healing and forgiveness comes only through Him.
Jesus has died on the cross paying our sin debt to God, was buried carrying our guilt and shame away, and Jesus arose bodily from the grave that through faith in Him we might have everlasting life.
If you are trusting Jesus, then be faithful to Mark from now on. Don’t listen to those who would tell you to leave him, but do the right thing, and that is wait. Wait on the Lord and trust He will have His way in Mark.
Lord of Heaven and earth. YOU have made all things for YOUR glory. Even marriage was instituted by YOU to show YOUR glory upon the earth. I pray for healing in Barbara, Mark, and their marriage. Help them both Lord to wait on YOU, and YOUR good will, and good timing.
Give Barbara and Mark the peace of “trusting in YOU with all their hearts and not leaning on their own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5), or the unwise advice of others who may not know YOU.
Blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus; in whose name I pray. A-men.
Every marriage needs to be built upon the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Biblical principals which every Christian should follow. Let’s pray for one another.

It has been some time since I posted any requests which have come here. I apologize, and will post some of those which have come in; starting with the most recent one.
Terry requesting prayer for his wife Gerianne:
Please pray for Gerianne. I am requesting a prayer for my love of my life. She is a victim of Abused Child Syndrome and was married to an abusive husband. Because of this, severe problems with menopause and horrible pressure from her mother she became someone totally different from the woman she was. She was so full of love and life and infinitely happy but she is now a different personality, vindictive, mean and cold. She is being controlled and manipulated by those with evil agendas who have ruined her life. Her son-in-law and ex-husband have paid to have an Obeah spell cast on her. The doctors have put her on Proazc and anti-anxiety pills which have radically changed her personality. For the past year she has been spiraling down mentally and morally and the harder I try to save her and comfort her the harder other people work to bring her down. She would rather have died than tell a lie and now lies and immorality rule her life. She attended church EVERY week and now she hasn’t been inside a church in 7 months. Please I ask you, I beg you to pray for her to return to the person she was, to return to the church and especially to return to the love and compassion we used to have as a couple. I beg you to pray in Jesus name for her to return to me where our love was pure, wholesome and unconditional. I ask you to pray for our love. Please pray for my 10 year marriage. I have been standing for my marriage for a 1 1/2 now the paper work for the divorce is almost final. But my husband wants to wait till next month to finalize it. His heart is changing toward me but there is also another person involved. I pray that God would remove the enemies plan for a divorce and God would have victory in our situation. Put YOUR hand on these men and women, protect them, lead them, correct them in their errors. Lord any that are lost draw them to YOURSELF, and save them through YOUR holy Son Jesus who died for our sins, was buried, and bodily rose from the grave alive forevermore.

It seems the devil wants to attack and destroy the family. Let’s pray for every Christian marriage, and the men and women to stand their ground against the onslaughts of temtation and the devil.

please help me lord. restore my marriage to lisa according to your divine will. allow us to find the love together for one another. bring us closer to each other in unity as you designed. lord do a mighty work in lisa’s heart that she will see me with the love she once had for me . she will accept the love from me . she will have a desire to return home and see that our marriage is worth saving.

After coming to our place they caught us and they divided us into different places from 2 and half month we r in separate my wife parents r not agreeing to make us one because caste problem. Bro Paul plse pray for us me and my wife we both r suffering so much but me and my wife we r ready to be one but our parents r not accepting this of caste problem plse I beg u pray for us let the god make us one. The following request can be found in the ABOUT section of this blog. Michelle has asked for prayer to heal her marriage and her family. Let’s support her in this.
I am in the middle of a separation. Ending a 10 year marriage is not something I believe makes sense or is of God. My husband left me with the accusation of infidelity, and I admit, I strayed, but in time, I was saved and left my old ways behind me. I did not understand the whole concept of unconditional love until my husband up and left me. His uncontrollable drinking and lack of communication created a wedge in our relationship. And through this all I still love him with all of my being. In a little over a year’s time, I experienced my husband’s DUI (in which I supported him in any way I could and did not judge), we filed bankruptcy months later, my parents ended their 30 year long marriage, and my father died 6 months afterwards. My husband was supposed to be my anchor to God, but he stopped going to church and I followed. From there our family suffered. Last time we spoke he said he had no forgiveness in his heart for me. And in my mind, those are words from someone with an absence of God in their life. We have two daughters, and I pray that this does not affect them greatly as they are so deeply involved with what is going on. Please pray for my family, my husband, and his hardened heart, and also for me as I stand for my marriage.

My wife and i have been sepearated for a little over a year now she has assured me that she want’s a divorece. i have not stop loving her or wanting to be with her, i have come to accept and realize that the lack of communication and attention i showed towards my wife was a big issue on why our marrieage has fallen apart the way it has. i have been able to confornt alot of my demonds that made me a selfish and unappriciative husband, my wife made me a better man and father she showed me what true love really ment it was just my fault for not realizing my mistakes before it was to late. since my wife left me my life seems to have fallen apart the only thing that’s constant (by the grace of god) is my job. i have lost a big part of me when she left and no matter how much time has gone by or how many arguments have accured since the seperation my heart remains the same. she is a wonderful person and a great mother to my children. i am asking for help because i have no where else to turn. please pray for me and for my wife to realize that iam no longer the selfish man i was. I never knew what unconditional love really ment until all this began to happen. I have always called her my angel because of how much she changed me for the better, please pray that god see’s fit to bring my angel back so we may be a family again. by God’s guaidance and my own determination i promise to give her the unconditional love that she deserves as my wife my best friend and the woman whos made me the man that i have become. thank you for your time.

My prayer for Geovanny: Father in heaven I ask that you hear the cry of this man. He realizes the mistakes he has made. Help him see that his most urgent need is YOU. That there will be no peace in his heart through his wife, or his children, but that comes from you. “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” Romans 5:1 (NKJV). Show Geovanny, Lord, that there is no peace with others until he is at peace with YOU.

I just received this prayer request from a Hindu man whose wife’s family is threatening to kill him. Being a hindu man means he does not know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, that must be our first requests. It does sound as though his wife and her family need Jesus too.

Muthu, My prayer for you is that you will realize that the God-Man Jesus Christ died on a cross for your sins, He was buried, and He rose again. Confess that you are a sinner, believe these truths about Jesus, repent of your sins, and ask Him to save you and you will be redeemed from your sin. I pray this for your wife and her family as well.

Father, put YOUR hand on Renee. Protect her, and keep her in the power of YOUR all powerful hand. YOU say in YOUR Word that YOU hate divorce. YOU instituted the first marriage and home. It is only due to the hardness of human hearts that YOU have give causes for divorce.
I lift Mike, Renee’s husband, up to YOU for his salvation. Open, Lord, his eyes that he may see Jesus lifted up between the earth and heaven, bearing the sins of the world, forsaken by YOU, paying the sin debt for mankind. Show him also, Lord, that in Jesus’s burial, He did not stay there, but rose to life again. Show him that genuine faith and life can only be had in Christ Jesus. Save him Lord, and restore this marriage for YOUR honor and glory.
