Recently I requested prayer of all who come to this Prayer Requests site to pray for the provision of my Dad’s need for $1,500 dollars to cover the remainder of the cost of a prosthetic leg.

Thank you all for your prayers, because God has answered with utmost precision.  When Dad went to the doctor on Friday October 19, to be prepared for the prosthetic, the remainder of the expenses was 1,511 dollars and a few cents.  With a yard sale and donations for them they had received 1,515 dollars for this purpose.

Who do we praise, and offer thanksgiving?  To the one true and living God, manifested in His Son Jesus Christ.  Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Thanks all.

Father, YOU alone are God, Creator, and Savior of the world.  By YOUR voice YOU hung the stars in place, and by YOUR voice the worlds are held together.  YOU alone are worthy of praise and glory.  There is no glory but YOUR glory.

Lord, I thank you for YOUR grace in salvation and in daily living.  Thank YOU for the grace that gets me through the bad days when things don’t go like I would like them to.  Thank YOU for the grace that gives me peace in the midst of the storm of worry, fear, and dread.  YOU are truly a gracious God – the gracious God, because there is no other.

Father, Lord God, I ask forgiveness where I have sinned against YOU and grieved YOUR heart.  The times I have had unbelief in my heart was truly grievous in YOUR site, and for that I too am grieved.  Help me to weep at what causes YOU to weep, and to laugh at what causes YOU to laugh.  Even when and especially when it is something concerning myself.

Lord Jesus, Father I have come this way because my heart is grieved over the behavior, murmuring of some of YOUR people.  YOU, in YOUR Word give us examples of what happens when people begin murmuring, complaining, backbiting, doing malace, and even have become bored in their worship of YOU.  Let those who have become grumblers, murmurers, complainers, become praisers of YOU.  Have them lift up their eyes toward the heavens, see the stars, the clouds, and see [even remember] the power which YOU have displayed in the storms of disaster.  Father, wake us up to realize this is not the time for grumbling, but time for praise – praising YOU.

Forgive the murmurers and complainers only as they come to YOU seeking forgiveness.  Father, do whatever it takes to make YOUR Church, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ holy, and praising YOU, rather than walking about in the flesh, and moaning because they cannot get what they want.

Lord, give us all eyes that we might see our own greatest need.  Right now we all need YOUR healing.  The healing only YOU can give.  The healing balm of Gilead.  The healing found only through faith in Jesus YOUR holy Son.

Blessed be the name of the LORD. Amen.

Father, God and Creator, I come to YOU with a very grateful heart. YOU are greater than anything of YOUR creation. YOU alone are worthy of worship, praise, and thanksgiving. YOU have made all things.
Were it not for YOUR creative work in all that is in and of the universe there would be absolutely nothing. In YOUR love and grace you made the material things exist for our benefit and YOUR glory. Thank YOU.
YOU created the sun, moon, stars, and planets. YOU even created the black holes, worm holes and anything there is in what we call space. YOU have made them for the beauty they add to the rest of all that is and that the human eye can see. Thank YOU for the sun which gives us light and heat by day and night; and also for the moon which reflects the light of the sun by night. YOU are awesome Creator. All is still in the power of YOUR hands.
YOU made the earth upon which mankind walks. YOU made the air which we breath, and it is breath that we might worship YOU. Thank YOU Father for the strength YOU give each day. Strength that we might arise from our beds. Strength that we might go to our work place to serve, be a witness, and bring glory to YOU for YOU and YOU alone are worthy.
Thank YOU for the family YOU gave me. The family I was born into, with the great parents YOU gave to me. They taught me of YOU, YOUR grace, love and mercy. Thank YOU for my Mom and Dad. Thank YOU for my brother and sisters. Thank YOU for my wife, Madge, and for my children; Charity, Monica, Timothy, Philip, and James. Thank YOU for their spouses; Paul, Sam, Sarah L., Sarah J., and Amber. I also thank YOU, Lord, for our grandchildren; Rachelle, Jonathan, Caitlyn, Naomi, Josiah, Rene’e, and Addyson; and for those we have not seen yet – who are with you, and the one’s yet to come into this world.
Father, I thank YOU, also, for calling me to YOURSELF in salvation, and for calling me to preach YOUR Word. I also, thank YOU for the church YOU have placed me in as their pastor. I really am blessed to be preaching and teaching in the pulpit of Carr Lane Baptist Church. Lord, I am also very grateful that YOU have put a love in my heart to know YOU better, and that love grows as my love for YOUR Word grows. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
Thank YOU that there is no other name like YOUR name.
My prayer for each day is that you will bless us all, increase our borders, put YOUR hand upon us, and keep us from evil. Thank YOU Lord for hearing our prayer. In Jesus name. AMEN.
